]]> The Delta One Lounge is a high-end interior tenant improvement, meticulously designed to provide guests with a luxurious and intimate experience. The space includes stone walls, custom millwork cabinets, bench seating, and backlit mirrors. The lounge also features a high-end bar with backlit stone, an antiqued mirror back bar with custom shelving, and a fluted stone façade front bar with a custom drink rail. Each area of the lounge is crafted to offer a unique ambiance, with bespoke materials and finishes.

Building within an active airport environment presented multiple layers of complexity. The project team navigated strict regulatory requirements, including dual inspections from both LAWA (airport) and city inspectors.

The installation of intricate design elements required innovative approaches. Custom metal rods for a decorative divider needed specialized fabrication techniques, while the integration of multiple finish materials—metal, stone and millwork—demanded precise coordination. The team created several full-scale mock-ups, including complete bar sections and reception areas, ensuring perfect execution of the design vision.

]]> Full build-out of Delta’s Terminal C (Concourse E+ HH+ F+D) at LaGuardia Airport encompassing 38,000 square feet. The project involved the construction of nineteen food and beverage spaces, including concession areas and high-end restaurants, between multiple buildings and across four floors.Ìý Additionally, the space features a grand corridor with intricate millwork detailing, and ticketing areas. The concourse required base-building work and crane pick-ups for construction on the roof of the building. Careful coordination between Clune, the Delta Construction Management team and the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey was necessary in order to navigate the challenges of construction within a heavily occupied space.
