]]> NBCUniversal’s Chicago broadcast hub consolidates four previously separate floors into one cohesive, high-performance environment designed to enhance efficiency, communication and coordination. Each zone was thoughtfully tailored to its division, with managers positioned near their teams to support faster decision-making. Inspired by the energy of 30 Rock, the open design features a refined industrial aesthetic with exposed ductwork and concealed conduits, while advanced BIM coordination ensured all systems aligned seamlessly for a polished, integrated result.

The project included the construction of five new television studios and two podcast studios built directly above active broadcast areas. Through careful coordination, daily noise monitoring and strategic pauses during the live programming and breaking news, work progressed without disrupting operations or impacting the schedule.

Anchored by a 35-foot suspended ticker and a 40-by-60-foot LED screen, the newsroom supports real-time collaboration and immediate on-floor broadcasting. Designed and constructed to achieve LEED Gold certification, the space delivers measurable gains in collaboration, workflow efficiency and responsiveness, advancing NBCUniversal’s mission to deliver information faster and more effectively than ever before.

Described as a “fantasy factory,” it features a full multi-sport game court with two courtside podcast studios separated by operable glass partitions, a golf simulator, and a bar and kitchen area equipped with a high-tech range, stove and walk-in cooler. ]]> This vibrant tenant improvement project transformed a four-story building into gaming giant Zynga’s new headquarters. The aim was to create a dynamic and innovative workspace that aligned with Zynga’s needs post-pandemic, focusing on flexibility and adaptability.

Nestled in San Mateo’s blossoming gaming headquarters hub, this project was a downsize from Zynga’s former San Francisco-based office. Though smaller, the 62,000-square-foot space, exemplifies Zynga’s hybrid Connected Workplace model. The layout and infrastructure were thoughtfully designed to foster seamless collaboration across departments and studios, utilizing hardware and technology to enhance communication and teamwork.

]]> The Tennis Channel and Bally Sports’ 63,000-square-foot headquarters was designed and built to showcase the sport of tennis and inspire creative minds to develop great productions. Previously an IMAX theater, the space was transformed into a fully functional office and production facility. Open workstations, private offices, collaboration spaces, upgraded conference rooms, and an employee pantry and dining area were built throughout. The project also involved the construction of three new film and broadcast studios with associated control rooms, green rooms and edit suites, as well as MEP upgrades and a new 1.2 MW generator. Creative elements such as concrete flooring, open ceilings and custom light fixtures are peppered throughout.

]]> This 355,000 square-foot mixed-use campus project consisted of four separate buildings, each serving a different function for a streaming giant. Buildings A, a six-story space and B, a five-story space, contain open office spaces, a small screening lounge and multiple pantry areas. Building A includes two sets of interconnecting stairs, a terrace, reception, conferencing center, custom millwork and award displays, as well as audio and editing bays. Building B includes a commercial-grade kitchen that provides meals for every employee on campus. It also provides meals for employees who work for the company in other locations in the area. Additional features include multiple colosseum collaboration rooms, a café on the top floor with an adjacent shaded terrace, meeting rooms, and a second-floor multi-level accessible terrace. The campus’ Building C houses a 260-seat theater complete with a green room, pre-function room, A/V rooms and a mezzanine with a grand terrazzo staircase. Finally, Building D serves as the client’s retail experience lab.

Custom shelving and veiling units were installed in the pantries. Various finishes featured in the space included high-end millwork with banquette seating, several different wall coverings, and fabric wrapped panels.
